Today I had a client that requested us to upload videos to youtube from their old site. ¬†One of the sites already had their video but it was on another account. I decided that it would be best to download the youtube video and then upload it to the youtube account that I was putting all of the other videos on. I was going to use the savevid.com site but it wasn’t going to work for chrome or safari. I ended up finding a Chrome Extension that provided me with everything I needed.

“Video Downloader Professional”

This extension has some options when it comes to choosing your file format. It also downloaded faster than I could have imagined. The only drawback was that the extension can not download directly from google/youtube. That was fine though, it just redirected me to another page that then allowed me to download it.
